Further to the post from last week regarding more realistic looking trees. Here are the finished articles.I've increased the amount of foliage slightly and tried to give a bit of 'texture' to the original plastic trunks and boughs. I've also tried to estimate the cost of each tree, bearing in mind that the only purchases were the plastic armatures and foliage. The only other 'ingredients' were PVA, Woodland Scenics fine turf, (burnt grass & earth), primer and dark brown matt spray paint.....all of which I already had. Cost per tree is around £2.50......and that includes postage of the armatures and foliage....I reckon they dont look too bad for that money.....whadda ya reckon fella's (and galls). In the last close-up photo i've tried to give an idea of the texturing on the trunks.
