Today has been amazing. I got to fulfil my boyhood dreams and become a train driver up the East Coast. Well OK, not the real thing, but in the LNER Azuma simulator and it was just awesome to sit in a replica cab, being put through real life scenarios. If you ever get the opportunity, it's thoroughly recommended.
