#toptips Mod Podge! I ignored Mod Podge for ages under the misconception that it was 'just expensive PVA!' Then my children were gifted some for decoupage craft work... It has now been adopted by myself for model railway jobs! Mod Podge GLOSS is amazing for small wet patches, puddles, bird baths, wet mud, animal troughs and light water ripples over resin. Mod Podge MATT is amazing for dulling down anything that you don't want to be shiny! Especially useful for items attached to the layout that can't be sprayed with Matt varnish or when spraying is inconvenient. Also good for touching up places where other glues (e.g. uhu, which gets lots of use on my layout) spread onto unwanted areas. #toptips 2: Don't mix up the two by mistake! 😆
