My efforts with a second hand dapol pub. First two photos of how I bought it and the rest, its current state of 'renovation.' I'm quite pleased with the wisteria: layers of lichen with the coloured bits of pencil sharpening for the flowers! It has a replacement door from a Wills doors and windows kit I bought for another project, as it came a bit draughty, completely missing a front door! The base had lost all its detail under thick paint but, apart from changing the colour, I'm not too bothered about it as it fits on the layout with a flower bed in front of that bottom section so isn't really seen anyway. The nice thing about starting with something second hand and a bit worse for the wear is that you don't mind trying things out on it!
