Advertising…. I have been looking at some old 1950’s videos of steam operations around the UK to get some inspiration (and some great facts, music and talkovers!). I was struck by how prevalent advertising boards, posters and suchlike are. Often every step on a footbridge, every space on a station wall has a poster or advert. Does anyone know if this was typical, or were they perhaps put in for the filming as part of a deal? Thanks 🙏
