The paper mock ups are floppy because they are just folded cheap A4 copier paper. But despite the whole thing falling down every time someone opens the door, I think the mock up is complete save for the domed tower which I will add later. This phase is invaluable as I’ve already seen some parts where the windows don’t look right in situ and it has highlighted some parts where the roofs won’t work properly. But on the whole it’s shown me that although low relief, there is enough variation in relief that it looks genuine and will work in the location I’ve put it. Can’t decide at the moment whether to do a card mock up or just crack on with the build. I have a week off work but lots of other commitments so progress on this will be slow. This phase has taken 10 and three quarter hours and has cost 19.76 pence in materials, plus a bit of printer ink.
