#toptips white lines on roads. When preparing my baseboards, I paint the area where roads are going to be with white emulsion, applied with a 5 inch roller. The roller gives a little texture. Now, I then mask off any white line areas, and then apply the final tarmac colour with a 5 inch roller, again adding texture. Lift the masks, and voila, white road markings!
