Some of this will become a top tip in a bit, but these were my experiments with making those purple-flowered bushes. I took ideas from the Kathy Millatt video from the newsletter uploaded few weeks or so ago and used soft toy stuffing soaked in diluted acrylic paint before spraying with glue and adding green scatter followed by the purple grated wax crayon @Sam Jones suggested. Had reasonable success with this method, but not happy with the green colouring of the stuffing so these ones won't end up on the layout (have used for something else though). The frozen, grated wax crayon worked well though, I thought, so I'll try it again with a better base (bought some woodland scenics briar patch)!
