Layout Evolution I thought it was time our layout came out of the closet and to share some of our triumphs and disasters over many years. It has endured four changes of location, including a house move, so has had many repairs and rebuilds. There is much more one can do in the modelling world these days so there is always room for improvement. There was no real plan when we started so has evolved into a heritage line loosely based on ideas from West Somerset Railway, Didcot and Pendon Museum in Oxfordshire and lots of experiments. The individual sections are documented in separate articles.
