Layout Evolution 1 - The town station It was always going to be a terminus but as I never had much success painting/weathering plastic models I opted for stone buildings in this area. More recently having discovered RM downloadable texture papers I am finding I can clad some of the old plastic models, brush them over with pastel sticks and some artists fixative to give a more realistic effect. The stone platform edges did not survive the house move and have been rebuilt in card and texture papers. They are now finished off with some SMS period railings and fencing and a new set of LED lights. An out of character plastic pub kit has been replaced by the SMS Victorian Ale House with a remodelled yard to fit a tight space. This was my first card kit and was impressed enough to get some pictures of the actual pub in Cornwall. Still experimenting with painting the track bed.
