Layout Evolution 3 - Leaving the station Whilst John was building the complicated track cross over I set to on some scenery. Decided to have a go at making my own scenics with variable success. Materials included grated coloured sponges, tea leaves, pencil sharpening, saw dust, charcoal, coloured sand, brush bristles, bits of string and various seeds. It does not look that bad from a distance but having just acquired a static grass applicator I now have a work bench full of new experiments which will hopefully provide more realism.
