Layout Evolution 5 - Hill farm A big hill was required to round the corner to hide the tight curve on the tracks and to accommodate the elevated branch line. It has to have removable sections in case of derailment. The hill farm on the top was inspired by a visit to the Pendon museum where everything is scratch built. The dry stone wall was built stone by stone and the wicker and wire fences from first principles, as is the contents of the vegetable garden. Cannot get close to what they do a Pendon though. I got into Woodland Scenics rock moulds in quite a big way but hope to improve the fields and oversize bushes when I have mastered the static grass applicator.
