A couple of hours this evening and Building 1, which will be the ultra-low-relief background to the whole hotel is nearly finished. It is a 10mm deep box of a honeycomb structure making it very rigid for the back of the hotel onto which all the other parts will be built. I’ve mounted black card behind the windows which makes them look deep when in fact they are not. I’ve added triangles to represent the roof and once the roof face is on, I’m going to move onto the second of the 10 buildings. I’ll record the next video tomorrow, edit it on Thursday and hopefully have an episode ready for Friday if you’re following along on YouTube too.
