#wagonwednesday #postit A few of the more unique and different wagons on my Inglenook Swalesdon Lane 1) Acid wagon. This is a Cambrian kit of an Acid Jar wagon. Apparently it was a 7 plank wagon with ceramic jars inside specifically for carrying of strong acids. 2) Propeller load. This is probably not accurate to how this load would be carried but its a bit different, and also Rule 1 applies! 3) LNER container. This is the Parkside kit suitably painted and detailed with securing hooks. There's also a homemade tarp inside the wagon. 4) TEA wagon. This is a scratch build based on a similar wagon that's preserved at the Tyneside Railway. It uses a Cambrian underframe, a cut down Bachmann 14Ton tank, and scratch built details. 5) Beer tank van. This is an old Falcon brass kit that I got back in 2019. I started it but never finished due to lack of proper tools. Earlier in the year I dug it out and got it finished with lots of help from a blowtorch! There's very little information on these wagons but basically there was a glass lined tank inside the vans that were used by the Bass brewery. I've not been able to find any decals for the van door so if anyone can help me out with getting some made please let me know.
