I had a bit of time yesterday evening to get a bit more progress on the engine shed for my small layout. I posted a few photos a week or so ago. The stone work (South Eastern Finecast embossed plasticard) has been given further coats of paint, but final weathering and blending in will follow when ready to 'plant' onto the layout. I have used 40 thou clear acrylic sheet for the roof, and started adding SMS lightly weathered slates (I really like these - makes for much easier work). The reason for using clear sheet allows me to include the skylights to be integral with the roof - adding strength, which is necessary as only three walls. The roof trusses being 3D printed on my PLA filament printer. The windows will be added next.
