#Ilkeston Town station. One of 3 stations in Ilkeston. This one closed in 1947, due to lack of investment for repairs and track renewal after the war. The other 2, Ilkeston Junction, Midland ) and Ilkeston North (GNR) survived until the Beeching report was instigated.
