As a #toptips for a Tuesday - shake the seeds off sea foam trees that you buy - they look like tiny poppy seeds and plant them up after about 6 months or so you have more, free trees! How to grow: Scatter the seeds over a tray filled with compost indoors in April, mist with water then cover with clingfilm leave in a sunny spot for about 3 weeks until seedlings appear then remove the cling film. Thin out, keep gently watering and then by June plant up outside in a VERY sunny spot - these "weeds" are from Southern Europe and are used to bright sunlight. Harvest from about August time. If they are too close together they end up very spindly and only good as small shrubs. They shrink when dried - dry by hanging upside down in a warm spot for a couple of months. Alternatively - just buy some more - they aren't that expensive!
