Product Focus: Bachmann 31-186ASF LMS Jubilee 45654 Hood, BR Green Late Crest, Sound Fitted. Morning all! Just wanted to bring this latest release to a bit more attention as I think it looks the dogs... *ahem* I love the shade of green Bachmann use on their models and the addition of the yellow cab stripe just helps set the model off that little bit extra. For anyone unaware the yellow stripe was added to locos that had limited clearance when running under overhead electric wires, generally applied to BR(M) locomotives but a couple of A3s and an A4 also received the treatment due to BR(E) locos running to Carlisle. Initially the stripe was a warning to crews of limited clearance when running under the wires and later it became a full ban. I will be adding one of these to my collection as my grandparents surname was Hood and just thought I'd bring it to the attention of anyone else who might be interested :) There is also a DCC ready version on the website too :)
