On my unbraked, non shunting 00 gauge trucks I have for many years used this coupling system of magnets and they are far more reliable and almost invisible compared to NEM couplers. I bought 4 N gauge trucks and a circle of track to see if I could achieve the same result and do away with those clunky awful couplings. Look forward to discussing it. I was one of the pioneers using magnets for coaches again some years ago. They look better than those that are now commercially available. I have a video and can discuss if anyone is interested.
