Hello everybody! Some choice shots of my WIP N gauge BR(s) fictional dining table portable layout with the original working title of Milton-on-Sea though what's sea about it now I'm not sure! The layout is roughly 6x3' and comprised of 50mm thick recticel insulation foam on a plywood base. I use scalescenes textures/kits and the computer graphics program Inkscape for the structures and love to scratch build out of simple cheap materials like packaging plastic, cocktail, bamboo and lollipop sticks (a prime example being the SR bracket signal in the last pic.) I love a challenge and have even attempted cosmetic point rodding with guitar strings and packaging plastic punched with holes by my wife on her sewing machine! Milton-on-Sea was very recently revolutionised by the addition of static grass from WWS. Please feel free to chat with me about the layout or any aspect of my modelling. Cheers!
