I tried servos some years ago and certain of my older locos would send the servos crazy when running. It was the interference and surprisingly from some coreless motors as well. I could have put faraday cages over each servo to shield them but that seemed like a lot of work and I may have had to shield the wiring as well. So I opted for some stall motors that I obtained from the USA. They are slow and silent. I used a Peco point motor on Loxley Barton Falls and really don't like the big zap noise and the points instantly banging over! These stall motors do it all gracefully. It did mean I had to have a deeper baseboard for Whitesands quay and that prompted my decision for a custom baseboard to be built for me and in turn that turned out to be bigger than the original plan which meant more buildings, and that eventually led me here - all thanks to point motors! #Pointmotors #postit
