Hi all, So we are going to be going on a bit of a good news/bad news sort of post today and in many ways we're looking at the old crystal ball scenario again! Bad News first? Get it out of the way right?! Well I guess many of you already have heard but Hornby have announced a 10% price rise beginning at the end of this month due to rising shipping and material costs caused by the pandemic... as a result of which I expect all of our estimated pre-order prices to go up with it :/ I need to seek 100% clarity on the matter before confirming this as the statement isn't as black and white as I'd ideally like. As a result anyone who has pre-orders with us and wishes to cancel due to the potential increases then just let me know. My apologies for the potential increase in price but hopefully you will understand it's out of my hands :( Right, Good News! I have been in communication with the people who run Great Electric Train Show (Hornby Mag, Stadium MK), Great British Model Railway Show (Motor Museum, Gaydon) and Warley (NEC) and they have all given me very encouraging feedback on the chances of the shows going ahead.
