Evening folks! After what has been what seems like a mammoth effort to get track relayed this weekend, I'm making progress and can see light at the end of the tunnel - although, might be a class 37 coming the other way!!! Note to self - DO NOT respace sleepers on flexitrack - it isn't worth it! Anyway, as I'd already cut the sleeper webbing on the flexitrack for the up and down mainline either side of the points into the TMD, (thought it was a good idea at the time) I needed to respace the sleepers when I relayed the track....... I've spaced the sleepers, and incorporated "super elevation" (think that's what it's called - banking the track) with 1mm spacers under the outside of the track on the curves at each end of the front section of the layout. Got, PVA, sleepers, cork underlay and PECO track pins in places I can't mention in public.... AND then the trackwork didn't quite match up with the original plan.... AAAAAAHHH!!! I thought hobbies were supposed to be relaxing... π±π±π± Anyway - track at the front pretty much is relayed. PVA is going "off". Plans for the back of the layout coming together. Once that is done, tracklaying to the TMD can commence. And then wiring the points motors.... π Cheers! Ross.
