These photo's popped up this morning on social media as being 2 years ago today. This was my very first attempt at a serious scratchbuild, after messing around with some ideas during the Covid lockdown. That was when I decided to embark on another layout based on the LMS Settle & Carlisle area. Unfortunately as yet, that layout has yet to come to fruition due to lack of space, but my scratchbuilds since then, have increased to 2 boxloads of structures awaiting placement on a baseboard somewhere and at sometime !!! This Station building was the result of flicking through many books on the Settle/Carlisle. While not being based on any particular prototype, I tried to include some of the regions most common archetectural features.
