Had one of those strange ideas which might be a good one.Using the Hornby MM 6000 unit it has 3 bands of sound for 3 types of loco.Steam,diesel and electric as the sounds come out of the smart phone it might be worth using earphone socket and connect to a smallish speaker unit (or bigger) this will enhance the sound greatly.just a thought regards
