Modellers Inspiration No. 95 Full length passenger trains. Having the ability to portray full length trains is normally the preserve of the smaller scales such as N or more recently TT. It has of course been done more recently in 00 with Pete Waterman & his Rail Nuts team. Heaton Lodge Junction in 0 gauge (at 200ft) also deserves a mention. But both of these examples are really the exception. To a lot of people who model in 00 gauge, depicting a full scale high speed train can just about be achieved providing of course you have planned in advance & have the space. To provide some inspiration I have attached some images I have taken showing full length passenger trains racing to their destinations. Enjoy!
