Recently picked up a dirt cheap Hattons 14xx, but I’m struggling to get any DCC decoder to actually work properly with the loco. Below are the ones I’ve tried: (all 6 pin) DCC Concepts Zen Blue - very jerky when moving off Bachmann - Smooth but constantly Stalling Dapol Imperium - Rocket like performance, even on speed step one. All these decoders work fine in other locos, but it’s a little odd that I can’t get even one of them to work well in the 14xx Has anyone got a DCC Hattons 14xx, with a good performing decoder inside?
