Gents, I am building a garden layout in G-Scale and the information gathered suggests that the rails should be bonded with wire across the rail joints. I am having difficulty in soldering the “bond wire” to the brass rail. I have an excellent soldering iron,cored solder and liquid flux. I have cleaned the rails but when I apply the solder it will not adhere to the rail, it goes into little goblets and the “drops off” the rail. Any advice would be most welcome.
