#tt120 Hornby So now you know why Hornby chose to go for this scale! Their continental company Arnold have been doing it for years! I was a bit suspicious about their new wagon announcement, the IFA container flat. So I did some research. It’s not a new tool at all! Well, for Hornby anyway. It has been taken out of the Arnold range and is a continental wagon. Their write up is true in parts. Luckily for them some were built here in the UK, by Babcock Rail, Rosyth in 2002/3, but they are not a common type on UK rails. However, I understand the model is very good and the containers (45 foot swap bodies) are well detailed with a much bigger range in the Arnold camp. So, I just thought I ought to warn any potential buyers, know what you are buying.
