One day late! - so here is this weeks "How To". This time a little horse drawn milk cart. The idea for these models started a while ago when I was looking at some "Britains" models - in particular the horse and cart! Being 1/32 scale, I was able to "down scale" to 1/76. Made from 1.5mm card and match sticks, it is a relatively simple build, the wheel guards presenting a little thought! However they were made from a 20mm wooden disc cut as shown in the diagram, with 0.5mm card to create the top. The wheels are 20mm, but have no "wheel hubs" - however these can be made with a single paper punch and 1mm card. The three models (shown earlier) all follow the same basic plan with a different body style. They are trimmed with little strips of 0.5mm card and the models are painted with "tester" emulsion paints. - Ken.
