Afternoon all! Hope you’re all keeping well. After a great success with the first lot of books I’m selling on behalf of a friends estate, the next lot of 50 are scheduled to go up on to eBay tonight from about 6pm until 8pm. I’ve lowered the price on those few items that didn’t sell as well. We raised £300 with the first lot but, even if we raise another £100, it’s going to two good causes. As I mentioned last week, the first is for a bereavement charity called SWAN and is based at Blackpool Hospital. The second is for a friend’s daughter who is currently receiving chemotherapy for bone cancer in her knee. It’s something no 14 year old should ever have to go through so, anything to help ease her life as it is currently, is gratefully received.
