Further to my post about using 3D aquarium background for rock face on my 009 layout, here’s a section being worked up. First is the material cut and broken up and fixed with PVA, then the joins and gaps blended in with Deluxe Materials Create and Shape. The 3rd photo is partially painted using various shades of Wickes grey emulsions from match pots, and lastly more paint work and a few clumps of self-adhesive grass. I’ve got more detailed weathering and planting to do yet, with quite a few ferns in the damp, shady crevices.
