Good evening to all, i've been busy building track taking it apart and putting it back together. Now i'm happy with everything(almost) my thoughts turn to wiring and boy is there alot of it. I'm thinking of using D plugs at each end of my base boards(X4) then i can connect the mimic board with it's own loom carrying power and control to each board does this sound like the best way or is there another way that perhaps isn't as time consuming? Any thoughts suggestions welcome as i've never had to wire up so many points. I'm using push to make switches with LEDs indicating which way there switched. There are 18 turnouts and for now operating on DC. I have wired for a possible move to DCC but to much rolling stock to convert so for now it's not going to happen.
