Evening all. Just a quick post about trolling and nastiness. This is one of the friendliest communities on the internet and it’s something we’re really proud of. Members take pride in the fact that they don’t put other modellers down, criticise or belittle someone else’s work. We strive to be a positive corner of the web where members can just be themselves. We also have a mostly unwritten rule of no swearing or general bad language. I have no problem with swearing and indeed I know all the words and use 99% of them probably on a daily basis as the rest of the team will testify. But I don’t use them on here because there’s just no need. If you feel you can’t keep your mouth shut and have to troll someone, or you can’t string a sentence together without an expletive, I’m afraid you’re not part of our tribe and you have no place here. So please take yourself off to a different part of the web where you can get your kicks in another way. If you continue to post stuff that conflicts with our community rules, even the unwritten ones you will be removed. At the very least you’ll be shadow banned, which basically means we’ve all got our fingers in our ears and are ignoring you because you’re a bully and eventually you’ll get tired of talking to yourself and remove yourself. So please… be kind. Be mindful of what you’re saying. And have a good time. Enjoy the hobby & just keep on shunting.
