#toptips #sandingboard ... I have just finished building the SX011 Modellers Sanding Board and I departed from the assembly instructions. Steps 1, 2 & 3 I only glued 2 of the rounded rectangular hook parts together, then put the bolts in the strip with the hexagonal holes in. This I glued to the 2 already glued together, putting the bolts though them. Then I glued the third strip over the bolt heads, so securing them to stop them dropping out. This assembly I then glued to the underside of the sanding board. Last of all, I then added the clamp strip and secured it with the wing nuts. The side support was glued into place to complete. Now I can change the sandpaper without dropping a bolt if I unwind the wing nut too far. Simples!
