I have finally finished. For a first go at scratch building, I am happy with the outcome. It has been an experience with some learning along the way. I can't say how many times I've repeated @Chandwell videos. Inkscape is good but can be temperamental. I had some trouble clipping textures. Scalescene textures come as pdfs, so a bit of work is needed to get them to jpg files for import.
