#microconnectors Good evening everyone. As an ongoing search, I am looking for a suitable ‘micro’ 2-pin male/female wire connector. I have existing interior coach lighting and, the original process of connecting the power pick-up coach to the rest of the carriages was a simple wire link, which was joined inside each coach. Obviously, when wishing to separate the coaches, the process of disconnection was complicated and, time consuming, to say the least. Drawing on the knowledge of fellow group members, is there anyone able to suggest a supplier of an extremely small connector. Please bear in mind, I am using a single strand cable and not a multiple wire core type (eg: 7/2). Additional information: the plugs and sockets could be mounted on the underside of carriages as I am not expecting to find something small enough to mimic (in OO 1/76 scale) the prototype electrical sockets/plugs between carriages.
