During my 2 week sabbatical, back to my roots in South London, I took an afternoon to visit some of my old haunts. One of those was Bermondsey, around the Dockland and Shad Thames area, where now, the old tea warehouses, have been turned into business premises and private dwellings commanding prices in the millions of pounds. I took a couple of photo's of one of the smaller ones, thinking it may be ideal for a scratchbuild, and used maybe on a wharf layout or something similar. The scratchbuild in the photographs is low relief, but true to life regarding windows and doors. The stone paper is not quite right though, but the nearest I had. The windows do seem to be oddly placed though.......but that's how they were. I can't see myself having a 'wharf' layout, so it might go to someone who thinks it will be of use.
