This afternoon I've bitten the bullet on painting the #cobbles for #eastglassonportauthority. Being such a massive part of the layout, it's been giving me some thought about painting it, in that I didn't want to get it wrong! Using £12 worth of paints and an artist sponge from The Range, I made a start. The base colour is a Vallejo mid grey, and then the other shades are a light gray, burnt umber, dark grey, and indigo, and I have to say I'm rather pleased with the result. I may end up going over it with a light wash just to lighten it a tad but for now I'm happy with the outcome
