The new layout Tolcarne Station, soon to be on the members layouts page, Please see below a little bit about the layout, hopefully to be seen at an exhibition near you the future Tolcarne station is a fictional rural station located in the heart of Cornwall, it sees a variety of traffic, including express trains to and from different parts of the country, a local stopping service to and from the seaside town of Pen Hellis, it also sees a frequent freight service which includes dry mixed goods and fresh fish and local produce being sent far and wide, A great vantage point can be had from the field overlooking the station with the derelict engine house adorning the landscape, the field has been handed back to the local farmer whose let the cows and sheep roam freely, Tolcarne features a little service shed where the loco working the freight service can be topped up with coal and water ready to for its journey, With coal not being native to Cornwall it has to be imported, the main bulk comes in by rail then a small percentage is bagged and sold to the local community
