Evening all… I’m gonna light the blue touch paper and stand well back on this one. Just having an in-depth discussion with Tina about the future of the hobby. Opportunities that lie ahead waiting to be explored and how we get younger folks into the hobby. Wargaming etc is growing in popularity (and don’t think I’ll jumping ship. I’m not… I know more about knitting than I do wargaming. And I’ve never knitted anything!) What I’m deep in thought about is how the devil do we get our hobby to experience the kind of growth that wargaming is seeing… How the chuff do we flip it from being the preserve of the retired or those that just like trains to something that really inspires. It’s probably an unanswerable question and not one that we can solve on a Monday night over a 🍺 or a glass of 🍷. But it’s one worth shooting the breeze on to see what comes out the woodwork. Yes we’re still looking at getting younger modellers in here, but that’s a whole different can of worms that one. I have some ideas. How the devil we pull them off I don’t know. But what are your thoughts…
