Evening Train People! Not much progress made on the layout, but I have started laying the trackwork and points for the TMD. Dot has had me busy building a new wardrobe for the spare room - fair enough since I have commandeered the other spare room as the "railway room"! First set of points for the TMD in place, and the point motor wired up. The bit of blue marking tape on the point rod is to stop me catching my hand on it before the points are finally fixed and the rod is cut flush with the point bar. Got an issue with a "wayward frog" on one of the slips on the crossover for the TMD - its lost a guide rail. Doesn't affect trains running over it, BUT its bugging me and my OCD needs to fix it. Problem is that all the trackwork around it is pinned and glued, so will be a bit of a faff to replace it - might need to get some of the railway engineers over from Dylington to assist, crumble and custard supplied!!! Dot is delighted with the new wardrobe, as am I. Lastly, I don't always wear polo shirts that match the decor of the room I'm working in....! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Cheers, Ross.
