Bought the two Dapol kits to refresh my making skills and try the various weathering techniques I’ve seen on YouTube. Pleased with the weathering though I need to source some different couplings as those with the kit seem poor quality. Still trying to decide if I should stick with the tension lock couplings or go for Kadee. No modelling yesterday afternoon as Mrs C decided we needed to go shopping. There was a bonus though as I managed to pick up the other four wagons from a second hand shop for £22. In need of a good clean and weathering but sure they will look good.
