So the 2nd post for this weekend then and a little bit more done to the Scrap Yard, but first, any suggestions for the business name? So as you can see I have added some detail to the weighbridge, they are more of SMS road markings that I have had left over and the hatched area again is left overs so cheers Justin. I have painted the railings a nice silver and then added some light rust and then a little of the heavy rust paints and I think that it looks alright. The loose fill silver material to represent aluminium or similar metal is from Goodwood Scenic`s and I used a cardboard base raised and glued into position and then added that in layers over the top. I have used a spray glue that I bought to do static grass layering and sprayed that from a distance as doing it too close caused the particles to just blow around but saying that, some have blown around but in hindsight I think that adds to the scene. What`s your thoughts. I have ordered some more of the Goodwood Scenics walling as I want that to come all the way to the hatched area and I also want to add an area for skips and bins but that won’t be for a couple of weeks. Lastly, I have just purchased my VIP ticket for the Nene Valley GB Railfreight Deisel Gala on the 7th – 8th September, mind you I am gutted that the tickets to tour GB Railfreight have been snapped up but you cant win em all can you 😊 Is there anyone else going up to Nene Valley for that event as well ?????
