That’s the loco depot concrete surface finished, a depot building will be in place over most of it, but I covered the whole track section as it was easier than not doing so. I made a small error one tidying up one of the tracks , but covered it with a small strip, which with the carriage in place, it’s not so visible. As can be seen from the last two photos, I used OO gauge texture sheet TX11600, to cover the gray surface of the plastic track plates, as well as the balsa wood sheeting, which despite the N gauge dimensions of the track etc, turned out quite well, even if I say so myself. I’m pleased with the finish, so just the carriage shed area to do, before moving on to making some platforms for a new station.
