Katie draws a rake of vans off the quayside ready for them to be sorted for their onwards journeys. Who knows, a few of them may end up being sorted at the small marshalling yard at Sawlesdon Lane. This weekend has been a perfect demonstration to me of how model railways (and hobby's in general) are supremely beneficial for ones wellbeing. After a near family emergency on Thursday night I've had a bag packed by the door in case I need to get home quickly. Thankfully, touch wood, the danger has now passed, but the grey hairs and worrying have definitely been on the increase. It's been very welcome to have been able to escape the unpleasant realities of life and focus on the layout. #eastglassonportauthority
