Slightly impulsed purchase of some Revolution OO HOA bogie hopper wagons from the Malc's Models stand at Railex Buxton last weekend. I remember these wagons new at Peak Forest back in March 2007 delivered in the silver grey EWS Construction livery. Shortly after, 48 were sent to Marcroft at Stoke-on-Trent to be repainted into the new grey and blue Cemex livery with the red/blue stripes and branding. They are heavy wagons as @Rob York will know. Yes, I know the Cemex 320001 model is missing two buffers. The guy on the stand told me the wagon had been knocked over, and the two buffers pinged off somewhere in the shop. They couldn't find them, so that pack was reduced in price accordingly. So, an email to Revolution and a PayPal payment later sees some replacement buffers in the post to me. That will sort that out. I will try and sneak them on to Smethurst Junction, when it is next exhibited at the Crewe exhibition in November. It would be good if more aggregates hoppers are produced as rtr models in OO like the earlier orange RMC hoppers. Though, I've just seen on FB that someone is going to do a 3d printed model of the original batch of rounded Standard Wagon type RMC PHA/JGAs mmm. Cheers Paul
