My mate Graham who owns the local model railway shop in Eastbourne called Mostly Trains asked me to have a look at a Bachmann 66, he thought it was dcc fitted but couldn’t get it running, took it home and lifted off the body to my surprise found one of those economy soundtraxx decoders inside , the speakers were blown and I just replaced them with a twin iPhone speakers and it’s all working now, the original owner had also had the lights replaced to show the correct configuration, always wanted to have a play with one of these decoders and thought I’d try out all the available classes 20,31,37,47,66 and 108, just a bit of fun 😊
