Small model railway show at the local Victorian Pumping Station in Burton this weekend, certainly makes a change from the usual church hall or social club venue having it in a real operating water pumping location. Around a dozen layouts there, but for me the highlight was Pete Goss bringing his Copper Wort Burton Brewery layout back to its themed town, great to see it there and chat to Pete about the location of a lot of his models……he’ll be taking a pint this evening in the real Coopers Tavern pub which features in his layout. I got him to sign his modelling book for me….and I bought some of his period figures to paint🤩🍻👍🏻
