For @Kevin Appleby regarding the odd running of Zimo decoders. I first had trouble with one of the new MN decoders when using the latest version (5.9) of JMRI. How you program in the ‘light engine’ running has changed. Before you will have used the ‘shunting’ tab (first picture), however I found that this had the result of quicker acceleration but slowing down took seemed to obey CV4. What solved this issue was using the new section in the ‘Acceleration and Motor’ tab (the part I’ve circled) Interestingly, the original issue persists with older MX decoders running the latest firmware. This maybe solved by using an older version of JMRI
